CREW Pittsburgh Announces 2013 Property Tour Locations

Get a behind the scenes tour of Downtown, Strip District & Southside Pittsburgh office and residential buildings

PITTSBURGH –September 18, 2013 – CREW Pittsburgh and the Property Tour Committee are pleased to announce that the building selections for the 2013 CREW Pittsburgh Downtown Property Tour have been finalized.

The Downtown Property Tour will take place Thursday, September 26th beginning with a lunch presentation at noon at the Wyndham Pittsburgh Grand Hotel. The lunch presentation will feature a speaker panel discussing current projects and what is on the horizon for Pittsburgh’s real estate market. Lunch will be followed by the tours of the properties from 1-5 p.m. and wrap up with a downtown happy hour at Perle located in Market Square.

The tour format will be similar to the 2012 event and will allow attendees to use either provided shuttles or walk to the buildings with tour guides. Attendees will participate in a well-rounded tour that simulates the PDP’s previous Walk & Dines with the addition of office buildings. With over 120 attendees participating in the downtown property tour last year, this year’s tour provides another great opportunity to get a behind the scenes look at the latest residential units, historic office buildings, and new developments.

The five properties include a mix of office, residential, and mixed use: 526 Penn Avenue, EQT, Lot 24/Cork Factory, the historic Dollar Bank Branch on 4th Avenue, and a sublease by American Eagle in Southside Works.

The Property Tour Committee is made of up individuals from CREW Pittsburgh, Green Building Alliance, NAIOP, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, Pittsburgh Regional Alliance, and the Urban Land Institute – all working together to showcase the ongoing transformation of downtown Pittsburgh.
